- Santa Barbara: Downtown is highly walkable, and many attractions are within easy reach on foot. If you plan to explore nearby beaches, wineries, or the scenic coastline, renting a car offers the greatest flexibility.
- West Palm Beach: Downtown, Clematis Street, and the waterfront are easy to explore on foot, while rideshares work well for shorter trips. A rental car is recommended if you want to visit Palm Beach, nearby coastal communities, or explore more of South Florida at your own pace.
- Orlando: A rental car remains the most convenient way to experience Orlando beyond the theme parks, especially if you plan to visit Winter Park, nature preserves, or nearby attractions throughout Central Florida.
